Fort Monmouth in New Jersey is on the Pentagon chopping block for base closings. It has everything you’ve wanted in your dream base, plenty of housing, church, 18 hole golf course… in an area land is reported as being $1 million an acre!
Who knows where we’ll find this listed, but it will be available by 2011.
This is something investors and developers will be following and it will be very interesting what will come of it. I supposed it all depends who comes to the table with offers and what their plans are.
